Have you ever tried to fit a square peg in a round hole? It just doesn’t work, right? No matter how hard you push, it won’t fit because it’s the wrong shape!

Here’s something amazing: God put a special space in every person’s heart that’s shaped exactly like God Himself. It’s like having a God-shaped hole inside you that only God can fill! Some people try to fill that space with other things—like being popular, having lots of toys, or playing video games all day. But none of those things fit quite right because they’re not God!

Even in countries where leaders say, “There is no God,” people still believe in God! Why? Because that God-shaped space is in everyone’s heart. No matter how much people try to ignore it, they still feel like something is missing if they don’t know God.

Have you ever felt like something was missing even when you had everything you wanted? That might be because your heart is looking for God! The good news is that God wants to fill that space in your heart. When you ask Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, He comes to live in your heart through the Holy Spirit. And finally, that God-shaped space is filled perfectly!

Take Action: Draw an outline of a heart on a piece of paper. Inside the heart, draw a space (maybe a star shape or circle) and label it “God-shaped space.” Then think about what you’ve been trying to use to fill that space. Have you been trying to fill it with friends, games, sports, or being the best at something? Those things aren’t bad, but they can’t fill the God-shaped space! Only God can! Write JESUS in that space and thank Him for being exactly what your heart needs!
