Have you noticed how many movies and TV shows make the devil seem cool or funny? Hollywood loves to put devils in their stories! But the real Satan is nothing to laugh about – he's a fallen angel who wants to wreck God's beautiful creation.

In Revelation 12, we see just how angry Satan gets during a future time called the Tribulation. The Bible says "the dragon was enraged"—that means he was super mad! Throughout Revelation, Satan tries everything he can to fight against God's people.

But here's the awesome news – God takes care of His people! Satan is no match for our God. Let's look at some differences:

• God is infinite and eternal (He has no beginning or end); Satan was created
• God is everywhere at once; Satan can only be in one place
• God has unlimited power; Satan's power has strict limits
• God will win forever; Satan will be punished forever

It's like comparing an ant to an elephant – there's just no competition!

Even though Satan is active in the world today, you have special spiritual armor to protect yourself (Ephesians 6:10-18). This armor includes things like the "belt of truth," the "breastplate of righteousness," and the "shield of faith." When you stay close to God by reading your Bible, praying, and obeying Him, the Bible promises that the devil will run away from you (James 4:7)!

Think About It: Let's talk about the armor of God from Ephesians 6:10-18. If you could pick one piece of this spiritual armor to wear today, which would you choose? The helmet of salvation? The shield of faith? The sword of the Spirit? Why would that piece be especially helpful for the challenges you're facing right now? Talk about this with your family or Sunday School teacher.
